CURRENT GENERATION IS IN THE BUSINESS OF ALTERNATIVE ENERGY

Started in 2005 by Arny Ahnfeldt, Current Generation is your "One Stop Power Shop".

All of the Current Generation team are passionate about alternative power.

Current Generation walk the talk, our warehouse in Pascoe Street runs from solar, call in and we are happy to chat and explain how it all works.

"We believe in giving the facts without the gloss, one of the team will call out to your place for a site inspection and give you an honest appraisal of how solar will work on your house."

"Building a new house?  We will custom design a solar system from your plan."

In recent times solar energy has become more and more financially viable because the cost of power has increased and the cost of solar panels has decreased, this has created an attractive investment with returns of 8 % and more.

Employing an experienced team of technicians and installers you can feel confident of the quality of your solar installation.

So put your investment on your roof, reduce your power bill and turn on the heater this winter.

Current Generation have installed hundreds of industrial diesel generators & alternative energy off-grid & grid-tie systems around New Zealand and throughout the world including Panama, Vanuatu, Samoa, The Solomon Islands & Tonga.

Products are sourced throughout New Zealand & worldwide, this ensures the latest technology & quality that is in the market and the best price for our customers

Current Generation's success is based on providing only the best technical expertise and long life quality products.

They can give you expert advice on hydro power systems, wind generation systems, solar energy systems; grid tie, battery back up or completely off the grid.

WHO STARTED CURRENT GENERATION?

Arny founder of Current Generation LtdBrendon Ahnfeldt (who everyone calls Arny), trained as a fitter/turner and worked on fishing boats for 20 years as a marine engineer.

This has given him an extensive background with industrial generators & diesel engines.  (He loves big toys!)

Upon leaving his seagoing career as a marine engineer in 2003, Arny started work as a maintenance engineer in a large national corporation.

Always looking for a new challenge he approached the company to do more training & completed an apprenticeship as an industrial electrician.

We can explain the benefits of solar energy, we understand the complexities of remote living off-grid, and know how to make it a reality.'
